Dan's 150 Rebuild

Thanks kyle. I wanted to do more of an open sandbed look so I went with stacking high and leaving the sand bed open for other stuff

I used all 75lbs I bought from Marco and all of the pieces from my old tank that resembled the new stuff. So its all the same except for 2 pieces

Thanks john! I was surprised at how well it all fell together, only took about a half hour VS 2 hours like it usually does. Theres still a few pieces I wanna move around but I'm gonna acclimate all my corals and whatnot first.

All fish are accounted for except for my yellow head jawfish, he must've died some time ago, unless he's hiding in a rock lol

Here's the sump area. Everything is hooked up minus the reactor and doser(which I may not hook up anyways)

Quick question tho. Those push connects for the reactor, do they make elbows for them? I'm gonna need to get 2 of em if so, my reactor will not hook up to the manifold on the angle it's on

What do u guys recommend I put into the fuge? Any special sand you guys would recommend? Different macro algaes? Its completely bare right now and I wanted to go out today and get some stuff

Considering the size of the fuge, I would go with just macro. I toyed around with a sand, rubble, and as a frag section. Always went back to cheato.

Lol that's what I had in my other sump, just rock rubble and cheato. Any other macros that are beneficial? Never had anything other than cheato

Thanks Juan!! I really love it so far, other than the fact that I did lose mostly all of my SPS including my favorite Borealis :( oh well, time to start buying more
