Dan's 90G Reef

Okay well I cant ramp mine up and down but im on a 9 hour schedule. Blue channel from 11 to 8 and white from 12 to 7. No dinos. Of course light isnt the only factor in this but it could help to cut yours if you're running them too long

Yeah I'll still messing with it. My lights max out at 40% right now. I'll see what I can do. Gotta do a WC tomorrow anyways

So I am on complete grow out mode as we speak. Selling off a few last odds and ends and then its grow grow grow. I'm gonna upload a pic of tank of how it looks now and then another in a few months(may or may not be a tank move between that time, looking at houses now) I think it'll be interesting

I did a 10g WC yesterday and for the first 5g I siphoned out what I thought was bubble algae on a lot of my rocks with a air hose. Long story short, got mostly all of it out. After a few hours, I noticed its all back on my rocks. Is it bubble algae or just trapped air? I'm so confused lol

can you take a pic of it? could be trapped nitrogen gas. I also don't advise popping/siphoning bubble alage because if they do burst they release spores that will create more. if its a minimal amount I usually just leave them alone because they eventually go away.

I can take a picture later on tonight when I get home from work. Its only on a few of my rocks but seems to get worse as days progress. What causes this?

Okay starting today I'm on a 4 hour light schedule from 12-4pm. Will siphon out some more bubbles tomorrow. Hopefully this process isn't really drawn out.
