Dan's Nuvo 16g

You live kind of far from me, but, if you decide you don't have enough, I have a couple of larger pieces I could give you (if you break them with a hammer/chisel to smaller pieces).

So for the past couple of days, I've randomly heard a clicking sound coming from the tank that sounded like water dripping. Well last night I FINALLY spotted my goby and pistol shrimp and realized it was the shrimp making the noise lol

Well, had to buy a new heater already. I had a tetra in there that's preset to 78° but struggled to keep the tank at 74°… went out and bought a 50w jager heater and were good to go again :)

Few new pieces. My small clown looks like he wants to enter the anemone but hasn't yet, the big one doesn't even look at it :/

I also just added 5 nassarius snails and as soon as I put em in, my blood shrimp went after one. Guess they're on the menu for them?

Actually I think I know the problem. Looks like 2 of the snails were actually dead. Maybe he sniffed that out and made a meal for himself

So I just cleaned out a cabinet in my desk where this tank stands on. Thinking of putting a top off tank down there since I have to constantly top this tank off every day at least 2 solo cups.

Do you think an aqua lifter could handle a 2-3ft height? I'm thinking of just moving my jbj ATO from my 150 over to it since I plan on buying a new ATO system for the tank build.

From Marine Depot:

Dosing Pump for freshwater or marine. This unique vacuum pump is designed to pump water up to 30" at a flow rate of 3 1/2 gallons per hour. Powerful and durable function allows for many applications such as trace element dosing, drip system for reptiles terrariums, circulating pump for lizards, amphibians and for priming gravity fed siphon tubes. It is recommended to use Suction Pre-Filter with Aqua Lifter-Dosing Pump so clogging does not occur. Suction Pre-Filter removes large particles before they enter Aqua Lifter.

Awesome. Sometimes I wonder why I don't do some research myself first before asking these questions. Lol Thanks Mike!

I was looking at that pump for an ato years ago on my 45g cube so I remembered exactly where to look for it.

A 10g tank will fit perfectly in my desk so I think as soon as I get my new sump for the 150, I'll move it over. The only problem I see is where I'm gonna put the float switch. Not a whole lot of room back there...

I'm started to get some brown algae as expected. If I remember correctly, this stuff goes away on its own right? Or do I have to siphon it out? Any CUC members to help? Its been awhile since I've gone thru this lol

Seems like im starting to loose some flow in my tank from the return pump. I'm gonna take it out today and clean it and see what happens. Hopefully the impeller is just dirty. If it doesn't help, I'm thinking of adding the mp10 in this tank on its lowest settings. See any problems with this?
