They are absolutely horrible with keeping hours. None posted and you never know if they will be open or not. My father went there 3 consecutive days in a row at various times and they were never open. I am sure they are still there, but you have to catch them.
Hit or miss hours. Last two times visiting my parents I stopped by around 6-7 o'clock and they were closed. :-\ Still had tanks inside with lights on from what I could see through the condensation on the windows. ???
They are not out of business but i dont know what the hell is going on there.
No one is ever there and when someone is there, they have nothing in the tanks.
They were having some troubles and i think it caught up.
The owner is a nice guy and its a shame but it happens.

A few months ago when I was in there (when they were actually open) I was talking to the guy that owned the place and I asked him where all the corals were. They did a lot of online business and had some really nice highend LE corals and all the tanks were packed. From what he told me, he was scammed by a guy on the web to the tune of $10K+ and paypal screwed him. Guy ordered all high end corals, got them and claimed the goods were "not satisfactory" and got a refund from paypal. Apparently the way paypal works, you don't actually have to return the item to get a refund. The owner was fighting with paypal since they suspended his account and was ordered to payback the money with nothing to show for it. From that conversation on, web sales stopped (website totally down), tanks were very light, and hours are anyone's guess.

and they were open! They also need to put out an under construction sign, as they are expanding into the store next to them. The new side will be freshwater and they are planning to move a few things (tanks) around on the saltwater side once the FW side is finished. Livestock is some what limited right now, they just got and order of Acans in while I was there, and dry goods are very limited right now but will increase as they finish expanding. They cleaned up all the tanks and added a new coat of paint to the walls. Definitely looks better than the last time I was there.
New hours are Mon-Sat. 11-8 & Sun. 11-5.
I have ALWAYS thought that place was odd, each owner is almost the same as the last? I have heard that they were going to expand for about 3 years or more? What, are the new owners family? Weird Hopefully it will turn out to be a hit this timeThermosts said:ricwilli said:

I know the last lot always talked of expanding, but this time it's actually happening. There is a hole in the wall (still needs to be finished) to the other side, and I could see them building a new counter where the register will be on the other side.
This store is shaping up . Talked to the guys the other day and they still have a bit more work to be done. Should be a good store in a few weeks. They are open during improvements.
