Dip

Do you need to have a dedicated tank or bucket for dipping with these chemicals? Or can you use the same tank for dipping and quarantine? I currently use by 2.5 gallon for everything.

Edwin, if you’re doing a couple hundred frags, that 2.5 gallon tank will come in handy. I use the same coleslaw container I used for Revive for the one, two or so frags I need to dip:

Yes but we beekeepers hate Bayer and this terrible insecticide. Been a great help in the demise of bees.

Zippy, I agree, not good for bees. But I don’t use any insecticides outside (none!) and I haven’t noticed any bees in my fish room. I was even nice to the termites in my house and only used borate (do you remember Borax (20 mule team)), which is safe as safe could be. Termites don’t like borate…will not eat the wood.

12.97 in both Homedepot and lowes in Howell. In stock in hd.

Good to know Chris….thanks.

I typically use CoralRX Pro and/or ReVive for my dipping. But, I've heard good things about the Bayer Advanced so I plan on trying that when my current supplies run out.

this is definitely interesting, i have to try out this bayer stuff. I've just been using Kent Marine Lugol's Solution for dips.
