WOW TERRIBLE NEWS INDEED!!!
just like the corals in the carribean catching small pox due to poor waste removal...hopefully they find a cure or else we're going to have to get the WHOLE community worldwide to have some MONTI grow tanks to keep this gorgeous coral alive and well then re-introduce them to their native waters again when the time is right

fwiw - kaneohe bay is on o'ahu and unfortunately the city spread from honolulu is pretty impactful. I realize they said other areas were impacted too - but I just want to temper the article with reality. Waikiki and such may look like paradise to us - but relative to the other islands it is VERY developed. Developed cities result in run-off waste and who knows what else.

Although one thing I did learn from this article and appreciate is this club in Hawaii that is helping report issues.
