I am using kalk in my ro water to control ph. I have a large reservoir of RO that feeds into a kalk reactor. Top off is controlled with a coralife float valve.
I am having an issue where my float valve gets "kalkcified" in about 3-4 days and then RO no longer gets dispensed and neither thats the KALK Which I really need for PH control. The valve works fine If I bypass the KALK reactor.
I thought of using float switches and a valve instead, to could control the RO water into the reactor but the idea of using electronics as the only method is not very appealing. I also thought that if i could find a float valve that the dispensing part is inside the water then the kalk would no longer be an issue but I couldent find any.
Does anyone have a fool proof method to do it?
