Diving a 6 million Gallon Tank

As posted in my other thread, I've posted up my video of my dive in Epcots tank. The whole thing was quite an experience. 230 ft of visibility, no waves, 72 degree water, gear all set up and ready to go, lockers and 40 mins swimming with thousands of marine life. FYI - all the coral are courtesy of "Disney Magic".

I'm not good at converting DVD to movies, so the picture is a bit squished.

The shot with a diver and 2 kids and the wife is me. It's a bit long so sorry in advance if its boring.

Awesome video, thanks for sharing. The wife and I love Disney, we will be back down there in October.

Yup that is me. If anyone is going to do this go for it. It was great. Another tip is I gave my girls glow sticks, it really helped find them in the crowds.

I am not a diver/certified so I guess it doesn't apply to me...but does padi teach you to keep your hands crossed (in front of themselves) or did they tell you this at Disney to avoid getting bitten? It was interesting watching some divers do it - and others were not as attentive.

I've actually had reservations at that dining place (living seas right?). It's a bit pricey but nice ambience. I dunno if I'd be happy to see some strange divers in there though during my lunch...hahahahhaa.

Haha. Good observation. It basically something to do with your hands and when you are diving with real coral prevent from accidentally touching something. At some place there are firecoral which will give you a pretty nasty sting if you brush against it.

Looks like a lot of fun. That was my favorite part of epcot, but I was there years ago. I wish I could take my kids there.

I had to laugh when I saw a Mickey mouse rock formation....how many of these hidden Mickeys did you see. Disney hides them everywhere. Thanks for sharing

My wife saw that and blurted it out. I totally wasn't paying attention.

So much for being "observant"! :p
