I have seen some videos about people making diy moonlight lamps to simulate the moon in their reef tank. Well I was in the dollar store earlier today and found a $1 solar powered spotlight.

It gives off a pretty low light and has no wires or electrical so its a quick addition to any tank. The lights turn on automatically when the ambient light is too low. What are your guys thoughts on this idea? If the light is too bright you could easily put a filter (tape or paper) over the bulb to make it dimmer.
