I would like to try and make my own led lighting system but am having a hard time finding builds other people have done for and aquapod 24 gal. I was hopping someone could point me in the right direction.

I don't think anyone has done a build thread on that. I was thinking about it too, I think the best thing would be 24 - 1 watt leds, instead of less of the high power ones because of the narrow beam you get from them. The other problem would be they will be very close to the water and not have enough room to spread out. I was even thinking about using more of the lower wattage leds too, 1/2 watt would give you 48.

remember when LEDs used to be super cheap like I remember maybe like 12 years ago in highschool we were able to buy them for a few cents each now they are the big thing and they are all pricey. Has anybody found them cheap anywhere lately?
