Diy sight tube

Made a sight tube for my ATO reservoir today. Used a couple uniseals and some 1/2 inch plumbing. Now I dont need to take the lid off any more to see the water level. I just have to pick up some clear tubing next time I go to lowes.

Do you use any issues with buildup? I guess you could just replace the tube periodically

It's only been a couple days but if it does I'll just replace the tube but I dont think it will it's just RODI water should stay clean.
