DIY skimmer and reactor

So, I am most likely going to take down my 40g fuge and turn it into a sump. I currently have a 5.5" DSB and loads of caulerpa and cheato in there right now. I want to make a protein skimmer and was wondering what sorts of ideas you all have. I have already done a bunch of research on the idea, but want to see what you guys think and what plans you have found in the past. The skimmer would need to be large enough for a 90g DT, 40g breeder and 20g.....all looped together.
Currently I have 90g DT, 40g fuge and 20g sump, but I want to turn the 20g into a frag tank and 40g into the sump.

Also, today I am going out to buy most of the supplies to make my reactor, so I will post photos and a description once I start the build.

Maybe add different compartments to the 40g fuge.. so you have a section for a skimmer and return, a fuge section, and a 3rd chamber for a return. I have a 40g setup as sump/fuge. I think you had a chance to see it when you came to pick up the nems.

I decided to keep the 40 as a fuge. And I made the reactor, but I need to make another one that has a more volume for media.
