do i have a case with a paypal dispute?

i bought a frag pack from someone and it was sent overnight guarantee by 1030am. i emailed the seller at 1100 and wanted a tracking number. 2pm he sent me a tracking number. well the package was delivered at 915 am but returned to fed-ex. It was sent to the wrong address seller put a 3 instead of a 8. i picked up the package at 230 pm it was 43 degrees the box had no styro or a heat pack and outside for 4 hours. 5 of the six coral died. i emailed the seller when i looked at the frags he said he would work something out with me but has stopped returning my emails. because the seller wrote the wrong address would i have any chance a getting money back for the frags that died?

It's very hard to say with Paypal. But if you think you are going to have an issue, I would file a claim immediately. The longer you wait the harder it is to get a resolution.

The fact that the box got to 43* makes me think this claim is getting a little old. You should contact PayPal pretty quickly and explain the situation. Hopefully the seller will do right by you but just in case they don't at least you'll know where you stand with PayPal.

Are you sure it's 45 days? Last time I needed to make a claim it was 30 days...granted, that was a few years ago...

Well if you're in the window you should make the claim and THEN sort it out. If you go the other way there's too good a chance that you won't still be in the window when you realize that things aren't going to work out.
