So after watching my candy cane coral pretty much shrink to its Skelton over a course of 5 days and running random diagnostics searching for advice I have drawn a blank I can't figure out what happened so as a precaution I'm doing a 50 percent water change and am going to run carbon does any one have any other suggestions as a precautionary measure I should concider

Is it the only coral to do that in the tank?

The only coral that is sick is that one every other one is fine and doing well
be mindful a large change might upset your other corals as well.
