Dosing Pump Placement

Can I have the jebao dosing pump, pump from in the stand upward into my tank?

Would check valves need to be in place. I'm gonna play around with the Red Sea colors additives so I wanna try to automate it

I could mount it in the rear but I have some room underneath

I'm not familiar with Jebao dosing pumps, but have to believe they are peristaltic pumps. That being the case, no check valve is needed....the pump rollers keep fluids from moving backward. And I would think you'd also have no problem pumping from the stand up into the DT.

Just keep an eye on it, I've heard some of the jebao ones start back feeding at times.

I don't trust the rollers to stop a backwards flow. Why not dose directly into the sump?

It's an AIO....so no sump. The only room that i have is in the stand

I've done it with brs dosers without issue
