Dosing pumps

I'm in the market for new dosing pumps and wanted to hear what the rest of the crew is using. Currently I'm using a brs 1.1ml per minute for alk. And manually add calcium and mag.

I have two BRS 1.1's being controlled by a Reefkeeper, dosing three times each per day for alk and calc.

I was running two BRS 1.1's on my 120 and picked up a third 1.1 for Mag. (If and when I ever upgrade).

Right now i'm just using Kalk in my top off on the 40B and have a BRS 50mL for that.

I was using the same BRS 1.1 ml dosers connected to Intermatic DT 620 timers dosing 10 times each per day overnight, one on the hour one on the half hour.

I've got one of those auto dosers, can't remember name but it's programmable with amounts, time etc. Works fine and i dose cal, and alk. I manually check mag and dose accordingly.

If I was only able to figure out how to program my apex accordingly for what my tank needs daily. What is the logic you have to type in for minutes on your brs 1.1ml doser

I use BRS doser as well. Here's my program:

Fallback OFF
Set OFF
OSC 030:00/000:50/029:10 Then ON

The OSC sounds intimidating but actually it's quite easy. (It's easier than figuring out the FIOS remote control).

The first number (030:00) means it will turn on 30 mins after the cycle starts.
The second number (000:50) means it will stay on for 50 seconds.
The third number (029:10) means it will idle for another 29 mins 10 seconds before it starts another cycle.

In my case the three numbers add up to 60 mins. So it will run 24 cycles per day. And I adjust the second and third number to set the time how long the doser runs each hour.

I have been running the dosers for about a year. How often do you need to change the rubber tube ?
