I never did lps and i got some duncans but they always look super inflated , are they ok? Or i am missing something?,

Hmmm they do look inflated I haven’t seen that before. Perhaps it’s just there style. We all get a little heavier as we get older

I’m not sure I understand the issue. They look great, they’re fully open.

Mine and others I have seen open like a daisy. Strait stalk and a flat open pedal like head. They look like trumpets. I’m not saying it’s wrong. It’s just not what I have seen

However I stand corrected. I just did an internet search and most I see do have a trumpet head. Apparently... mine are odd. I will take a pic when I get home

Could be flow, lighting, etc...

They typically don't like a lot of flow...may be pulling in to avoid it. Here are mine...in an area of rockwork that blocks most of the flow off of them

Sorry those pictures suck, I forgot to put my filter on. I'd give a lower flow area of your tank a shot to see if they do better. Here's a better shot of mine.
