Durso pipe

So my upcoming build will be a RR deepblue 90 gal. This has a corner overflow. Am I right in assuming that it will utilize a durso pipe? Are these easy to deal with. So far I've only dealt with the glassholes overflows. I was trying to understand the reef ready overflows and I just can't seem to wrap my head around it.

The pipe coming with it is going to be a durso design. I would however replace the two bulkheads that come with the deep blues though.

As far as my experience with durso's. I've never really had a problem. Some people have problems with gurgling but mine is right in the living room and Ive never had any problems.

By the way, I just got an email from trop and there having a sale on tanks. The 90 reef ready is $208

Hope that helps.

Got the same email. I really wanted to drill for a glassholes, but the deep blue tanks are all tempered.

They are not all tempered. The rimless tanks are 100% tempered, and as Bax found out after he ordered his tank, the larger tanks are also 100% (his was a 150).

Small tanks aren't tempered and some cubes and some rectangular tanks the sides are not tempered. This would only help you if you are doing a peninsula tank. Will at Aquatic Obsession has the full break down from Deep Blue as to what tanks and what panels are tempered.
