Now they need to pick up either Alex Smith or Colin Kaepernick because I don't see the 49ers keeping both of them next year. If the 49ers want Kaepernick as a starter, Smith wont want to just sit around waiting for his chance again. And if Smith starts next year Kaepernick knows that he can get a better payday somewhere else as a starter.
Just my thoughts.
Smith won't fit into that offense very well. He's not a very good game manager & you need to be to run that rush offense that Kelly started & then gave to the patriots.. Im not saying he couldn't do it, just that it wouldnt be a solid fit. i'd rather take an accurate football genius from college than smith. but what am I saying, I'm a steelers fan lol
Harbaugh drafted Kaepernick, there's no way he's letting him go. Smith is out. He can go sit on the couch next to Bledsoe.

I think he comes with a new look behind Foles. He liked Foles in Az and he likes a durable QB and hopefully that puts the question of Vick to rest FINALLY and ends that awful experiment - that choice got Reid fired, I don't see them paying Vick $12M or whatever he's owed to play next year. The thing that scares me most is that he could look at Tebow since he may be sitting on the couch with Bledsoe too.

No way Carolina parts with Cam. I wish Philly could get him but I can't see it. I think Kelly gives Foles a chance.
Maybe he'll run the option with Vick for the first 3 games and end his career with an injury. LOL Then finish the season behind Foles.
I don't see Cam going anywhere, he will be with the panthers until he can't run or throw anymore. The Oregon offense didn't rely on a QB that could run well, just good. It was all the small fast RBs that made it work and the tempo of the offense. I would imagine the Eagles drafting a QB in the 3rd round. I'm thinking Martinez from Nebraska.
