easy to build canopy plans?

Have a 4x2x2 120g tank and want to build a canopy for 2 leds that I'm going to get from Feng. I'm looking for canopy plan options. Something that will hold the two lights but still provide good access to get in the tank.

You can't get much simplier than the canopy I built.....made with inexpensive fir strips and 1/4 inch plywood. Here it is opened up so you could see the two LED's and full access.

Information on the build is in my Tale, and starts HERE. It starts on post 171 and includes posts 176 and 177 on that same page. Hope this gives you some ideas.




Also, if you're buying your lights from Feng, you must be relatively close, and you're more than welcome to stop in to see it in person.....I'm in Sayreville.

I built a whole custom stand/canopy/side cabinet setup for a 120g. You can see my Tale of the Tank Thread Here

It's pretty detailed and has a bunch of pics of the construction and some of the stuff I bought to make it (including a homemade "grommet" to pass wires through the side).
