Usage Guidelines


  • One Radion fixture is comparable to one 250w metal halide
  • Generally, one Radion fixture should be used per 40 gallons (150L) of water volume.

That light looks amazing, I love the fact they have green and red leds in there as well. The fact that they are wireless and sync to your vortechs is another added bonus. I am invested in my AIs right now (and the prices came down which is awesome), maybe down the line.

I'm having a hard time seeing why this is worth $250 more than the new AI fixture. I really like the inclusion of green and red LEDs though. Am I missing something that makes them so much better? It seems to me that AI caught everyone by surprise with the Phoenix's low price.

I cant seem to justify spending 250 dollars more either. The new AI fixtures are also wireless. I have been using sol blues for almost a year now and have no regrets or complaints.

I can see couple nice things. Red and green LEDs and profile. I hange my T5s now so would want to do the same. Very sleek so I like them. Not saying they are worth the difference but maybe.

weeeeee squeals..... I can't wait until the Chinese copy this and sell it for 150 bucks...Then i'll just buy em to have em!! did you guys know that you can DESIGN YOUR OWN LED FIXTURE and have some folks in china build and ship it to you? For a fraction of the price of these fixtures? The chinese fixtures are very cost effective as well..
