Way too much info!!!

Hey brandon, do you think that mount will hold it on the ceiling. Looks kinda flimsy to me, light may fall in the tank.

Haha well accordingto Steve it will surely fall, but after speaking to my friend the engineer he said I could've used less than 5 screws. Oh well

I told him to use a bolt in the center to attach the wood to the beam and then also extend both sides to hit the next beam on each side instead of them floating....but he doesn't listen.

I think he should at least put some anchors into the sheetrock ceiling.

That's just me though.

He got a text msg of the light hanging and as such we've concluded that if it can handle 320 pounds pulling on the wire and me pulling on the wood. 3 pounds won't make a difference.

Thanks George there is a slight learning curve to programming it, but getting there.

the cord could be pulled around back towards the center of the light and hidden with a power cord cover and painted the same color as the wall to give a real nice finshed look. It is a really nice looking light.

lol I was joking. He asked me if I thought it would hold. Being the lights are only 4 lbs each, then the way he has it with 5 damn screws will be fine.. I told him that it was not the prettiest though.

Also glued a NICE montipora he gave me, boy epoxy = hurt eyes!

Well....I have to say...I saw the light in action and it is an awesome light! Now I want them, but $2,000+ for 3 of them is not in the budget now or the near future. So my plan is to steal Brandon's while he is away at training for his job.

And I have him more than just a monti...jeez...how quickly he forgets.

I only glued the monti though hence my comment :p lol take care of the tank if you steal it for a day or two sure no problem.
