Elusive equipment not on the US market

Hey guys I was watching a YouTube video with a friend about a aquarium shop in Australia when the creator of the video giving the tour pointed out a pretty awesome power head and, other equipment I never heard of saw be for.
So it lead me to a search,of the web for the power head and I found zilch, nada, zero results on, the goggle box except a few obscure links to foreign sites and a YouTube video about the product but not one listing for sale. So I checked the foreign site and found a few other cool pieces of equipment that I have never seen be for. So I began to wonder are some brands of equipment zone locked to the point in which we might be missing out. I'm not saying this item in question is better then what we have available but for my tastes I would love it. Have you guys come across a piece of equipment you just cant seem to be able to find even with the modern day advancements in online shopping?

This was the wave maker that was featured in a few tanks in,the Austrailian shop I like the look and size of it but can't find a place to buy one, they have a site for the brand but you cant buy it directly from the company and eBay and Amazon came up empty.

To be honest, having a previous career in art and marketing, that Conch box is a cheap print, have no doubt its not a prime product.
And, now that I look at it in detail, 'The Way We Make Wave' is sorta, off.
So, I'm now on the website, which promotes...
'Conch Slim 8 is on the way'
While describing the current RR4 unit as...
'The Color changing options of Simplify will give the WordPress Driven Site an attractive look. Simplify is super elegant and Professional Responsive Theme which will create the business widely expressed.'
Not saying the unit is bad, there's a lot of positives for things like the Chinese manufactured LED boxes.

The way the pics present the unit it looks like the power line is outside the tank, but if that the case, the in tank powerhead looks too thin to hold the required magnet.
If this is an MP10 copy, and it performs well....

I follow North East Readers in FB.
Odd items and setups but they have success.
Interesting to see.

Lots of European companies (Orpheus) have items in other countries that won't sell enough to get here or will eventually find their way. There are lots of Chinese items that may be very good (Dsuny) as well, but don't sell well here or have no distributers or they may be producing almost the same item for a major brand and have some agreement not to sell the same item here (but you can buy online from overseas). Part of that is the marketing. You have to keep lots of inventory on hand to be a distributer for some brands that may not sell. This is not a good store strategy of this age of online ordering. The current Reef accessory market is driven by BRS and Marine Depot. They keep a limited selection, and then only items they can make significant money off of. They won't stock a non-apex controlled model of a light for instance. Why sell a $100 timer controlled light when you can sell one for many hundreds of dollars (although they may have a better reflector) by a major brand? When they have a good sale, it is because they are discontinuing the brand. All other sales are coordinated with manufacturers. It is no coincidence that those web sites and the manufacturer's online site all have the same 15% sale on the same days. And you can't search any item without it (or another similar item) showing up from BRS in Facebook or other adds. However, you can do Amazon searches for items and often find the same item for sale somewhere, without the brand name mentioned. That way they can get rid of overstock without lowering their advertised prices and search engines can't list a lower option. On the positive side, BRS does testing and videos showing the items which help prevent making a bad choice.

I think maybe we went slightly off topic lol Idk maybe I was asking wrong but either way you guys were all touching on different but good points I didnt even think about when I was first looking into it.

That power head Idk if its good or not mainly I just like the slim profile, I mean personally I would love an MP 40 but quality product or not I am cheap lol I bet the MP 40 is awesome but when you break it down its magnets plastic and wireing materials probably dont come near a quarter of the price and sure the engineers who developed it and the manufacture and the shipper and distributor all need there cut lol but some things catch a branding inflation i just can't break down and spend any ways back to the topic.
The point / question is or was, small name no name, knock off, or what ever is there a chance that some foreign brands potential or not just dont make it to the US market? Doing a search for the power head I got zero leads but they must sell some where? So I guess the nitty gritty of the question is there some reason I wouldn't be able to see foreign marketed products searching the Web from the good old US of A? And if that's the case prehapes some of us have come across equipment that we thought was great or liked for what ever reason but couldn't track down to purchase

I would think this has to do with trade regulations for one. Also, they would have to account for voltage and redesign of the plug for the US.
If a fairly new company may not be worth it but in time they could be available here if they get good reviews and company takes off.
