So who has one?? Mine is doing ok...but it lost a lot of its blue color....red is very good though....any tips on keeping this coral?

I had the same problem, solution was lots and lots of light. Move it as high up under at 250W MH as you can.

Same problem here, the red polyps are really red but the blue isnt there at all. I just added MH so I am hoping it changes

I have one that has improved its blue color since I purchased it.

I have it directly under my MH, and as others have stated, responds well to a lot of light.

Depends on which one you have. The one that has a deep blue color is a lower light coral. The other one is not as blue and can handle MH light. Good Luck

No way am I posting pictures of this thing!! Since I got it, the blue has totally browned out and you can't really tell the difference between the brown and the red polyps. :'(

Well - One thing I will say about my superman monti. It has to be my slowest growing coral.

I am not sure if this is typical, but nonetheless that is the case.

I can post some pictures later if you would like to have a comparison.

I had it directly under my 14k 250 and the blue started bleaching....ugh....can't win with this thing. Then I moved it back down and now the blue is brown!!

This was the size of 2 peas about 6 months ago now its covered the plug and spreading on to the rocks. Its under 10k now really glows with the actinics on

Well I tried to get some pics, but they came out very blurry.

When my MH is on, it looks more red than Nics due to all of the polyp extension.

When MH goes off, it shows more of the blue.

I wish I had even a tint of blue.
