Eurobrace - eel question

Can anyone let me know that has had eels in the past if eurobracing around a tank would be enough to keep an eel in it? I had a snowflake eel back in college and have always wanted another one. I love rimless tanks and don't want to have a screen or glass cover. Once I move and get settled I'm wondering if the eurobrace would work.

When it comes to eels I have had them escape from tanks with covers on them. Its very hard to tell what would happen. Right now I have a mexican pale nose eel in my tank with lids on 2.5 of the 3 sections and then mess on the last sections so my pellet feeder can drop in. Mine is too big to fit through the holes but could easily pop it off if he wanted.

I once had a black ribbon eel escape a tank with a glass lid on it. Amazing what they can do.
