Fallout 3

I gotta admit, I'm not a huge videogame fan, but I always liked Fallout.

Downloaded this today via Steam, and I've gotta admit. This is one of the best games I've ever played.

100% gruesome and, in my opinion, quite true to the past Fallouts. Most Fallout fanatics are all hurt over the FPS angle that Bethesda added to it, but I like it.

Anyone else play it yet?

1 & 2 were awesome.

But sad as it may sound - my tank has been sucking up any extra funds - so my pc is still a relic by today's standards.

hmmmmmm.... is it a CPU based game like the other steam engine games or is it more GPU... just trying to figure out how it will run before i get it

not sure what gpu is but it's a RPG game with a more mature dialog/graphics. Frankly the original had a ton of replayability. KOTR is probably the one game I can think of that is somewhat similar...without the mutants, or the brotherhood..lol...

I Can say that, right now without spoiling anything, the replay value of this game rivals that of the old Fallout games.

I'm playing this time through as the most evil character I can possibly be. I've gotta say, it's a bit emotionally trying on me. This is the first ever game where my conscious is actually telling me to do certain things and when I go against it I actually FEEL bad.

Pretty shocking when you think about it.

Best game I have ever played, I think. I think I enjoy this game more than the old Fallouts. Mainly because of the emotional part of the game. You really invest a lot in what you do. There's never been a game to do that to me.

ok so thanks.. yeah i'm waiting for windows 7 comes out to get a new PC.. don't think this one could handle this game.

gpu = graphics card so gpu based would put more stress and use your gfx card more then your processor(cpu)

j/w cuz i have an 8800gt but only a 2.0g dual core so i run Gpu games a bit better and smoother.

Just purchased the game from steam as well. Team Fortress 2 got a lil boring and i found some money under my couch

heres the nice thing you guys should know Ps3=400 bucks xbox=200 after reading and checking out reviews on the games graphix for Xbox looks way better then ps3 version that sucks! taking it back swap it for 360 version since i didnt open mine yet.
