Wow those reactor's look great guys :) How much would it cost to build one myself? Or someone to build it for me if it's too complex

I think the total for the parts is somewhere around $130.

They're not very complex to build, the only thing is you need some very specific tools. Those being 1/4" NPT and 1/2" NPT pipe taps, along with 7/16" and 45/64" drill bits. If you have those and are somewhat handy, it's pretty easy.

If you want, I have a fairly straightforward drawing of it and can provide a detailed parts list.

Also, be aware that it is a pretty tall unit (I think it measures in at 34"). That was a bit of a surprise to some people when they saw it for the first time.

Sounds a bit over my head since I don't have most of the tools. How much would you charge to build it for me. If that's not too much of me to ask. I also have some coral if you prefer.

As you can see I just joined so I realy have no clue ??? Are you guys going to be doing this again next month?

We meet each month in a different member's home. The topic of the meeting is always something different. At or close to the top of the page you'll see a thread for the March meeting. It will be held in Piscataway at the home of Steve68.

We will be holding a March Madness Frag Swap for the meeting.

We won't be building a Ca reactor for a while to come but NJRC has one extra reactor from the build that we'll be selling.

190 with the recirc pump. A similar reactor could easily cost you 300-450.
