I also had a great time at my first meeting. Enjoyed making new friends and having people to talk to about reefing that don't get bored...

I managed to pick up a ton of great stuff as well:

Wall hammer
Torch
Candy cane
Montis (the plugs with 2 colors on it)
A fighting conch (thanks again dave!)
And my first ever clam as well

OIA Is an absolutely amazing place and I'll definitely be making the (long) drive back as soon as my wallet recovers.

John, the older meetings we had permanent name tags. A board member would bring them to each meeting , find your tag, put it on and return before leaving the meeting.

To get things going again I'll bring a box of the "sticky" labels that you can write your name on and place it on your shirt for the next meeting. If that's ok?

Oh I see. ya make sure the permanent location is a low flow area they dont like that much flow.

It has...its probably at around 80%. I expected a slower acclimation.
