I want to publicly state that fed-ex SUCKS! poor customer service, BS delivery times and horrible package handling.. If any other shipping company was to go out of business hopefully it is them!

Yesterday I'm suppose to receive my Blue Zoo Package. We get an email that says delivered left at front door, ok so i check. Guess what is nowhere to be found. After waiting for another half hour i call fed-ex and they can't get ahold of the driver but they are going to page him and tell him to come by my area again. I explain to them that these a live animals and it is cold out, there is no other road like mine anywhere even close to here. I am dumb founded as to what they could have done.

Now, Todays issue put me over the edge........ I ordered my skimmer which is from Ohio, 2 day shipping is all it takes. I just checked the tracking number and the damn thing is in KENTUCKY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it won't be here till Tuesday so now it mnesses up my plans to get that thing int he sump and the sump finished...

Well i'm done for now and going to send a very pissed off email to fed ex and tell Marine Solutions they should get there money back!

I vented to Fed-Ex nicely as i could though.. wonder what the response will be..

Comments: I want to know why my package that is suppose to be sent to NEW JERSEY was sent to KENTUCKY???? What is wrong with Fed-Ex anymore???? This is twice in two days that you people have messed up my packages, I wish i had a choice in shipping companies when ordering because it would not be Fed-Ex. Originally my package was suppose to be here today, which i needed. Now I have to wait till Tuesday because it is in Kentucky, Why is this??? The Pony Express would be here before you guys!

if i am not mistaken Kentucky is the main distribution hub for fed-ex. even if you were to send your next door neighbor a package it would go through Kentucky first, the same for UPS. I would not expect anything from Ohio in 2 days unless of course you paid for it.

never had anything come through Kentucky and i had the tracking say it was suppose to be here today. so wouldn't they know if it was suppose to go there.. I'm getting the run around on the issue now from them. Just like my package.. Delivered to front door. Yeah? whos front door?

Main hub is in TN. Fedex is great for overnight letters/courier service. Kinda spotty on packages/parcels. Has always been like that. I've had a lot of mess ups with all carriers. That's just how it is.

I always choose UPS when given a choice, my UPS guy is a fellow fish nut! He always takes special care of my aquarium related packages! Never bitches even when I get 5 buckets of salt! ;D

Fed Ex, nice guy, but my packages are often look like they've been chewed on by a gator!

There were some SERIOUS delays with shipping due to the weather in that area this week. We got caught up in it too (but I don't know the carrier).

no i got my fish they jus tsaid that it was delivered even though it wasn't here. some phone calls and an hour later it was all here.. And man the shrimp goby relationship is nuts :)!

I prefer UPS over them all. I missed an early morning delivery one time of fish and they left a notice. I called them up and gave all the info. UPS tracked the driver down and the fish were delivered around 5pm. All were alive and well.

UPS also blows. I ordered a sump froma guy in florida. he shipped it, packed it with bubble wrap, peanuts, extra padding and cardboard and when i got it the baffles were smashed to peices, every single wall was cracked or disconnected, and now their solution is to send it back to him.
Filed a claim and they say oh were just coming to check it for damage. Came when my mom was home and she didnt know better. they took the package and just shipped it to the sender. who i cant get in touch with. And wont do anything for my claim. so im out X dollars.

whos for starting our own shipping company ;D ;D
