FESS UP !

With the new year well on its way I thought it would be fun to start a thread on things you do with regards to fishkeeping that are not the norm/accepted practice . Think of it like a confessional.
And like a confessional there will be no negative post as to what may happen because of what we do.
Lets clear our minds ...lol
I'll start

1-I do not acclimate .
2-Only time I check my water is for salinity.

Who's next ?

2. I don't test my water other then checking newly made water for salinity.

3. I don't use RO/DI water.

As im some what of a newb to this hobby.. BTW what is the time limit of being a newb?.. But anyway.. I do everything by the book.. but I can see I could slack off on a few things in the future

1. freshwater dip (without PH checking..), but after normal shot acclimating for at least an hour
2. I never test parameters .. even after I lost a sea hare that was MIA for a week. I just do massive WCs
3. Only check salinity on newly made water also
4. I dump cold RO/DI topoff water into my tank when the 5g bucket runs dry and the pump starts spitting air
5. I only clean my media pad or filter socks every other week..
6. I only clean my return pump media protector 2x a week when sump is cleaned out.
7. Bulbs are only cleaned down maybe every 6-12 months..
8. I put my hands in the tank all the time.
9. I stopped doing regular water changes (and now everything (softies mainly) is growing out of control.)
10. When I suck my crushed coral bottom of debris I let the water settle and dig through the debris for worms, copepods and other creatures to put them back into the tank.. This doubles or triples the maintenance activity.

I don't quarantine
I don't check water parameters besides salinity

i upgrade too many times.  it's just like my cars.  i've bought a new car every year for the past 6 years.  i upgraded to a new tank every 3 months since i've been in this hobby.  wreckless spender!

i'm looking at buying either a M35x or FX35 this year.

I use tap water
MY hands and arms always in tank
I don't quarantine
I don't check water parameters besides salinity
I only temp acclimate
I can pet some of my fish lol 4 real
i want 2 kill a few of my damsels always knocking over coral on purpose
I just swap frags from tank 2 tank

-I check salinity on fresh made saltwater only
-I don't test for parameters anymore
-I throw a handful of raw Icemelt in the sump once every few weeks in the sump for Mg
-I've only changed the first filter in the RO unit in the past year, and oh yeah, the RO and DI aren't in the canisters anymore, I keep on forgetting to replace them
-Halides are almost 2 years old, the t5's just passed their 14th month
-My tank runs on $55/month in electricity

I tell you what... This has to be the BEST thread EVER!! Perhaps i'm doing too much. ;D

I don't quarantine.
I put my hands/arms in the tank.
I use a canister filter that doesnt get maintained as much as it should.
I only test parameters perodically or when something goes wrong.
I previously overstocked.
