Hi all, it seems a lot of folks will be interested in a virtual meeting; that‘s great!

Final poll—vote on the day/times you WOULD attend (vote for multiple if you’re available) and we’ll go with the one that has the most votes. Evening was heavily favored previously so I’m throwing out evening times only.

Topics—one was suggested in a previous thread by Amado (algae scrubbers vs refugium), and I’ll throw in a few more. Vote for your preference, feel free to vote for multiple, and if you have suggestions for future topics please comment here. I see no reason why we cant do this on a somewhat regular basis if it goes well, so let’s get some topics of interest out there.

Voting closes Tuesday so we can set this up.

I want to add I’m not pursuing a gueest speaker on this; I’m looking at more of a round-table discussion, sharing our own experiences and thoughts and hopefully showing examples in our own systems

I'm willing to give a talk on how to grow hair algae all over your dt hahaa, something I excel at. But to extend on Amado's idea we could make it more of a natural vs chemical reef keeping style convo discussing all aspects including refugiums and algae scrubbers, might be to general though

Haha thanks I definitely want to hear some Paulie stories. The way I see it we can share and hear different points of view and experiences and go as deep as we want. No reason the conversation ends when the meeting ends too-we can have a thread continuing the conversation or pick it up virtually again later.

Just realized Sunday June 21 is Father’s Day......my bad. Please consider that in your voting. If I see the numbers drop in this poll and we don’t have a time when more than half of those interested can attend, I can push the dates back a week.
