Finnex Marine + 24/7 48in.

Anyone have this light? I'm looking into some insight about how I can mount this better on the tank rim. It comes with plastic screws that would pinch the tank but the rim is to thick. So it is just resting across opposite sides.

I've got one of those on a hang on fuge.
The way those plastic sliders fit into the light bother me, they move waaaayyy to easy.
A good bump, angle change, or accidental elbow can easily slide the light off the 'mounting pins' and zap.

Maybe if you took some blue tack or playdough or something and put a bit behind the slider piece, in the slot it slides in to (if you get what I mean) it would make it a bit safer.
Mmmmm, going to try this myself tomorrow.

Scratch the surface of both the tank and the light stand arms....(use sandpaper or something) this way the glue has something to stick on
