fish stuck in the live rock?????????

So my daughter called me today saying my yellow tang was stuck stuck in the rock. Well my father was watching the girls and was able to free the fish. Is this a normal thing or do i just happen to have a special yellow tang?

Never heard of anything like this before, did the rock shift and fall on it?

Careful with the releases, there's a reason they're called 'surgeonfish'.

The rock hasnt shifted its like he/she went in a crevice to small and couldnt back out

I do tend to get some odd ball pets so a special fish isnt out of the question lol

If you can get the rock out easily hold it halfway in the water, if the fish can get out it will to survive. I have seen fish wedge them selves in all sorts of places, most of the times they can get out on their own.
