Fishing off Montauk LI

Caught some nice fish. Was a beautiful day on saturday.

The fluke was 23.5" but thick as anything compared to the others we caught. the stripers were 25 to 27".

Nice! We use to be able to find fluke that size right in the Raritan Bay....we called them door mats. Now you're lucky to catch anything, and they have to be a minimum size to keep (which is a good thing).

I caught a few doormats yesterday in the Raritan bay and a lot of nice keepers.
