What do you keep in your frag tank? I am having some issues with algae growing on my frag plugs and wonder what fishes do you guys keep to keep that under control? I already have snails in there but they mostly stick to the glass. I am thinking about putting in my yellow tang in there because that guy is just a mower when it comes to algae. give me some recommendations, its a 40b bare bottom, 30 gallon sump, and 30 pounds live rock.

In our 60 frag tank is a pair of clowns, sixline wrasse, yellow tang and a lawnmower blenny. The tang and blenny do an awesome job at the algea, and the sixline takes care of any pests. And the clowns are well...just cool :)

I have a yellow tang and melanarus wrasse. Zero algae and the melanarus keeps the pods under control too.

I think I am going to put my yellow tang in tonight after work and see how that goes, might pickup a wrasse to keep it company in there. Thanks for the suggestions!

We have a gem in ours...does a great job on alge

haha! that deserves to be in a display, I don't think I would be able to keep it in a frag tank. lol

If your frag tank has sand, I know a wrasse that's looking for a nice sand bed. ;)

For my melanarus wrasse I put in a tupper ware container full of sand as they sleep in sand. It is tucked in the corner and he does not make a mess.

Your lucky, I have more sand around the tupperware than in it right now.
