Fragging BIG hairy green mushroom

Hey everyone...looking for advice on fragging my big green hairy mushroom. Its about 8 inches in diameter, maybe more. Can I just take a razor and cut it in fours THROUGH the mouth? I have never fragged a mushroom so wanted to make sure before I did anything. Its getting too big for my nano, figure ill frag it, let it heal, and sell the new mushrooms. Let me know any suggestion you may have, thanks in advance

I've peeled them off rocks where the actually tore apart and they still survived. I don't think you will have a issue fragging them with a sharp knife. They will slime alot when you cut them.

Not that I frag anything, that one should spread and multiply on its own, I let mine divide, naturally, then cut off the piece off rock the new shrooms on and start a new colony. Cutting them, not that successful for me.

Alright so the mushroom spread to a size I have never seen before....easily 10 inches diameter....im going to use a scalpel this weekend and try to frag that bad boy into a pizza! It has taken over the right side of my tank, need to cut it. Whitebird, you said you were the fragging master...any suggestions for me on this or just cut it into slices basically like a pizza.

I have one too that is a pretty good size. I may have to figure this out in the near furture as well.

I have used razor blades and cut them like a pizza. I have also accdently droped a rock on it, which crushed it into pieces and it fraged itself. You do not have to cut through the mouth. Any little piece will heal and grow.
I noticed it took longer for them to heal when I sliced through the mouth verses just cutting a piece.
