Slight remodel of euphyllia island, incorporating the bicolor hammer and torch coral.

The torch coral has finally started to open up.

Avoided a potential disaster with the bicolor last week when the turbo grazer decided to rearrange the corals I got at the meeting before I put them on studier pieces of rock. I came home from work to find the torch coral stinging the hammer. Luckily it has recovered, I forgot how strong the sting of torches can be, even to members of the same genus.

Jedi Mind trick montipora lost the majority of it's tissue, I thought I lost the coral. Over the past the parts that did not die back started to show polyp extension and it has begun encrusting.

Thanks, it is coming along and I am quickly running out of room. All the corals continue to grow and show great polyp extension.

Removed the Protein skimmer from my sump. It has been offline since September. Nutrient export via Algae Scrubber, filter socks, and 5 gallon water change every other week. Let's go!!!

Bold move taking the skimmer off. I don't think I could ever do that after running one...

All is well with the tank, the corals continue to encrust and grow. The only issue is the blue-gold torch is losing one of its heads.
