Anyone keeping freshwater tanks? If so can I see for inspiration?

I have a 10g with some guppies and are looking for some nice compatible options.

I have a 150 south american tank, combination of real / fake plants. All the real plants I put in either get eaten or destroyed by the cichlids but there still nice to look at in the mean time lol, good luck with your tank! Are you looking to make it a planted tank?

Marcus. When it comes to freshwater. It’s pretty hard to beat a planted tank. Personally I’m a huge fan of fresh water planted shrimp tanks. Simply beautiful.

I kept freshwater since i was a kid. As an adult, We would keep largemouth until they got too big and bring them back to the (private) lake they came from. When my boys were small, they’d hit up graveling point to catch ghost shrimp and killies to feed them. What a blast seining with the fellas at least once a week, even in the middle of winter.

they’re lazy ass teenagers now, so if we’re fishing, we have to buy bait lol!

my pops had a discus tank. we got all fish from a breeder in glen ridge. those fish are so nice looking and easy to keep.

Little 7g for a beta, 10-12 neon tetras, a crazy plecki that Sponge hooked us up with, and a few snails that have now turned into 100.
Few small pieces of driftwood and a couple of no maintenence plants.
