Been following this for a while and it is pathetic! The US needs to get it's stuff together and get on board with much better recycling systems and stop using so much plastic. Plastic bags and plastic water bottles need to go! The one foundation out there with any promise is The Ocean Cleanup. Pretty cool system. www.theoceancleanup.com
There is an island out there with plastic crap all over it with dead birds full of plastic. As the plastic breaks down it gets into the fish and eventually to the people who eat it. We are killing the planet. Sad...
