Does anyone else feel like some stores have their stuff like super marked up? I've been looking for months to get into keeping sps but everything is like $80+. Even small 1-2" frags. (only time it's cheaper is stuff that's bleached/browned out and not looking so hot. And even then it's like $30-$40.).

Is there anywhere that won't ask for an eyeball for a tiny, common frag in NJ? Or is this the name of the game?

If you are in central/northern NJ talk to Mike in Parsippany- a hobbyist with a big frag business out of his garage in Parsippany- you can find him on Craigslist or pm me for his #

You would hope that once the supply on the giant
Colonies goes up the price would go down, but no people are still asking 500 for a homewrecker or even 250 for a Walt Disney. Mine grew from a nub I got for 200 into a 8 inch piece that I could make a hundred frags from, and I would sell them for 50 since I have so many. I understand everyone wants a return on the investment, but some prices are crazy.

I believe all stores should have a $10 $20 $30
Section of frags. I get my stuff from local reefers.
I find a lot of stuff from people on this forum.
Danger Dave is worth the drive.

I’ve gotten almost all of my frags from fellow Reefers. One day when my tank grows out I hope to do the same for other fellow Reefers

I was at his house the last time he was selling stuff. All the frags i picked up are doing awesome. But i guess I came to late and not many sticks to choose from.

I get a lot of expensive stuff at Manhattanreefer
That site has a lot of higher end corals and a few people have very good prices
