Getting back into the hobby

Hi everyone,

I've Been out of the hobby for a while after losing my tank during Hurricane Sandy. Had a 90 Gallon back then, but I'm coming back with a 93 cube.

I learned that tanks are hard to source these days after visiting a couple of local stores buying clownsish for my granddaughter's 20 gallon setup. I love a challenge, so I jumped online several weeks ago, found my tank in Lancaster PA on the phone at - that fish place, and the next day I was in the car with my wife to go pick it up. While there, I started asking about the latest and greatest lighting and a week later I ordered 2 Ecotech Marine Gen 5 Radion XR15 pros.
Then, I needed a stand of course and refused to get a standard stand sold in the store with the tank as a set, and had a vision for what I wanted. So here are some pics of what I built for it.

I'll be using my reef octopus 250XL from 9 or 10 years ago, and had to build another sump for it (20 gallon long wouldn't fit) out of a 20 gallon high.

Today I ordered my Multi light RMS bar to be suspended from a cable kit with lights mounted from slides, along with their Vortech MP40 pump.

Here are a few pics. I'm no carpenter, but it will do! Can't wait to get going!

Lol! Funny that you mention that. When i brought it back to life, I had to disassemble it to get it running and found that suggested mesh with the propeller that some people converted to! I was about to order the replacement a 1200 model something, but then it kicked right up with the needlewheel and was super foamy. Please provide some details about the replacement if you dont mind. I'll buy one and use this as a backup! ;) Also, what are the advantages? Thanks!
