I still have some GFO from the group buy of 08 (I hope its still good). Since I have not used it for a long time, I was wondering if it needs to be rinsed by hand before use or should I just run water through the reactor until the water comes out clear? I need to run this on a 55 gallon tank.

I just let it run into a bucket until it runs clear, doesn't take long.
