Step 1, get the tank so I can start building the stand.
I bought myself some time with the current stand by rigging some 2x4 braces under each end to support the legs and keep it from swaying. Looks like hell, but it should hold for a while.

i have made put acrylic baffles on all my glass sumps & never had a problem
the trick is to keep both ends clean & make sure the silicone is to temperture
when it is to cold it will not stick good & come off.
the only way the acrylic will come off is with a razor blade.
i would never try this for any tipe of external overflow cuz it will fail!
it holds good inside the sump cuz of the water pressure.
this was the last time i glued acrylic to glass.
this was done in 2005.
