Golden Ticket

Notice...
Absolutely Fish is having a 25% off your entire order today and tomorrow. But it does come with a catch. You must have a golden ticket to take advantage of it.
I just so happen to have two of them so if anyone near me would like one. Let me know. I could put it in my mailbox. Also. I intend to go there today so if anyone wanted to piggyback my order let me know. If there was something specific you need. I would pick it up and take it home if it’s easier for you.
...Happy Reefing

I need some food. Well the fish do. And my daughter would like some shrimp for her tank. Other than that. Fate will decide

I hit them this afternoon with my "Golden Ticket". Much to my surprise, I was actually rather unimpressed. My shopping list included (1) a half-dozen Carib Blue Reef Chromis (for a school). There were none to be had. (2) A Fowleri or Dussumieri* Tang, but none were to be had. (2) A medium sized Majestic Angel, but none were to be had. (3) Five of the Gold Lyretail Mollies that were just pictured on their new/revised web site (to be used as dither fish in my quarantine tank), but none were to be had. (4) A juvenile Emperor Angel larger than my bossy Lemon Peel, but the few they had were too small. Even with 25% off, their Anthias were out of my price range. The only fish I actually agonized over was a Galba Damsel. When it arrived at AF, 6 or 7 weeks ago, it was priced at $250, but they've now dropped the price to $200. With 25% off, this Galba for $150 is unheard of in today's marketplace but alas, I've got no tank to put it.

I guess they must have sold all the good fish on Saturday for 25% off...

* A Fowleri has been the Tang I've aspired to for a few years now. But two weeks ago it was dethroned by an adult Dussumieri I saw in PA at Something Fishy. I actually didn't recognize the tang they had in a large stony colony tank, and had to ask for an ID. The fish was spectacular - I'd have to describe it as having neon blue markings on a neon orange background (or maybe vise-versa). Given the tank it was in, I didn't ask if it was for sale.
