So it's time to start a new thread for the new 225 I picked up from timkatz71(thanks for the great deal)
Here is the tank in the drive way after horseplay and I picked it up

And the next step was to rip out the wall down stairs were the tank was going to go

After checking out the stand that came with the tank I decided it was not safe to use so I built my own stand and moved it in place.

Next step was getting a group of guys together to help move the tank down stairs. Luckily I was able to get Sunny,Paul,Mike,Edwin and I together to move this beast of a tank into the basement so after an HR or two of carefull planning and debating what the best way to do this we finally said the hell with it lets just get this thing down there and we muscled it down stairs on to dollies in to the back room and up onto the stand.. (I owe you guys big time!!!!!!)

Next was to start the pluming and set up the sump and skimmer and main pump after getting everything set up and finding a leak in the pipes I had to redo the plumbing. After the fifth try and two broken bulkheads lol everything is fit together and not leaking


And now it is time to start filling the tank

And making water in my stock tank

Slowly it fills

Almost there

I threw an old 150w halide on the tank just for some temp light

And after 3 days of making water and filling she if finally all full.

And here is the sump running and cycling

Added 100# of base rock to the tank today

Transfer almost done all rock and coral moved all but 2 fish in the new tank.

Looks like harlequin shrimp food. They are not reef safe though people that Keep harlequin shrimp feed them to the harlequins as their diet is only starfish.
