Hey everyone,

I've been talking to a supplier where I get a lot of my stuff from and he is willing to participate in a group buy for pick up here in Linden, NJ. Are folks interested and if so what type of products would you like to see? ESV products? Hanna products? Rocks? Sand? Salt?

Let me know!

Is the group buy limited to 1 particular item in a category? Ex. If we did a salt buy would it apply to only 1 brand of salt?

Is it the Hanna Checkers in general offered, or just the reagents? Do you have pricing of them?

Is it possible for a more centralized p/u location?

I don't think we are limited to one particular item; obviously the more we get of one the better the price.

I think we can get checkers not just reagents. Price again is going to depend on volume.

I was hoping to get some feedback on what everyone wants and then get prices based on that interest.

I can't do another location.

When setting up group buy, its key to narrow down the list to a particular category....it seems too broad at this point and the back n forth between members may eventually fizzle out.

Not that I'm against it, but given the broad range of products, and not having it a bit more centralized, may be a problem for a chunk of members who could potentially be interested in whatever group buy comes out of this.

Also, and I should of said this before, and I apologize for not doing so earlier, but as a policy, we try to source group buys through our club sponsers prior to going external. In addition, the member sponsored group buy needs to get BOD approval prior to being posted. Especially, again given the broad range of products you're offering.

If you can, when you can, put together a pricing list for us and shoot it over to myself and @ecam so that the 3 of us can collaborate on what type of buy would work.
