Was it worth it?

Ahhhh.......no.

Had to try it.

Looks like the begining of a skimmer with a new shape. Hey, start a fad! I knew you were DA BOMB!

I bought a sheet of 1/2" clear acrylic for a tank, then I built myself a huge router table (4ft x 5ft) with a pseuto-rip fence. WOW i now see what you mean by "you will not believe what you are missing", referring to that RYOBI. SMOOOOTH cuts. Again...DA BOMB.
I am building another tank similar to the one in the basement, but bigger. I am halfway done. I had a question for you but I forgot what it was... darn

I will remember another day.

Dave - In this picture you can see:
The strait line heat tape (gray strip under acrylic)
Angle jig on the left of the picture
Heat gun to help the heat tape along

It's called "Experiment Gone Awry"!

Nice try, Rich!

And Renee, where are you getting your acrylic from that it is cost effective to play around like that? We'd try our hand, but it looks like any decent sized tank would not be worth the cost of the acrylic!
