is there any site i would be able to see pics of what the different spectrum lighting looks like (10k 12k 14k .....)

Bryan, there are some but pictures don't work well. It's best if you go see it in person if possible.

is the higher k rating more in the blue range for example 10,000k yellow - 22,000k blueish

In general yes. There are exceptions from different bulb manufacturers but higher temp usually is bluer and lower temp is brighter/more yellow.
