Hammer coral problems need advice

hey guys, noticed few days in my hammer last few days noticed the stem look like it’s being eaten away or fading also noticed a weird hole in the top section are these signs of death or making more splitting? It’s grown 4 extra heads in 7 months

unfortunately i do not i do have a second hammer near this with no issues

already did that no signs of anything eating the stem maybe hermits?

Was there a narrow indented ring around the coral when you purchased it? Has it grown taller since you purchased?

Well if there are no pests on it, parameters have been stable for weeks, then my guess would be the damselfish. Distressed damsels stress coral reefs

a mullusk? what is that a snail of some sort?

There are creatures in the mulusk family (fresh water, salt water and land creatures who have a hard shell to protect its soft body). Clams and snails are examples.

well ive noticed my bumble bee snails hang out on the stem or around it maybe they eating it? or maybe my calcium isnt high enough? checked today 420ish

bumble bee snails eat detritus, algae and worms, but don't eat corals

I keep my Ca 475-+

hmm cant seem to figure out whats going on the heads looked alittle smaller today the groove looks deeper feel like itll come off soon or crack not sure whats causing this i did do double dips this all started in my first tank in the beginning about a year ago and its still happening my tank was refreshed everything was dipped and all
