Hammer went into hiding

So I was able to meet up with another local reefer who had better testing equiptment than I do to check my water and it wasn't good news.

ALK- was off the charts (over 16)
pH- 9.2
Everything else was normal.

I looked at the salt chart on RC chem form and it say's the salt I'm using is in the middle for alk, low for cal, and low for mag.

Is there a brand that is just strait salt w/out additives? and if so what.

I would try just regular instant ocean salt, and when you need more calc and so on, move on to reef crystals. I think these two are pretty standard, and good for beginners. No need to do any extra mixing, just dump into water let it mix for a bit, and then add to your water.
